What You’ll Do
As a Journeyman Plumber, you’ll diagnose, repair, maintain, and install plumbing systems for residential and light commercial customers. You’ll represent 1 Tom Plumber in customers’ homes and businesses while providing professional service and effective solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing plumbing problems and recommending effective solutions
- Completing plumbing repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance
- Servicing residential and light commercial plumbing systems
- Explaining findings, options, and completed work clearly to customers
- Ensuring work complies with Minnesota plumbing codes and company standards
- Maintaining accurate job documentation and service reports
- Operating company-provided vehicles, tools, and equipment responsibly
- Following all safety procedures and industry best practices
- Delivering a professional, respectful, and positive customer experience
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Minnesota Journeyman/Journeyworker or Master Plumber license
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, tools, and repair methods
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Dependable, professional, safety-conscious, and team-oriented attitude
- Commitment to high-quality workmanship and doing the job right
Compensation and Benefits
